Sick Boy
I had a sad and sick little boy today...he seriously hardly said anything, and didn't play AT ALL...and just laid on the couch all day long...poor little fella. (Yeah, I loved all the extra snuggles, but...still...way too sad...) AND...I had to go to work tonight...he woke up this afternoon before I had to go, and I told him I was going to work and that Daddy was going to come home and take care of him. He had actually been smiling a tiny bit 'til I said that...then he puts his head back and his eyes fill with tears, and he says "I sad a bit." oh my word. And he did NOT want me to go to work...and kept trying not to cry and kept giving me hugs and kisses...all I could do to walk out that door. I hope he's feeling better tomorrow, poor little darlin', breaking my heart....and we're going to see Steven Curtis Chapman in Moncton tomorrow, and it will be REALLY hard to leave him here if he's sick, so...I'm just really praying he feels better through the night. I love that boy. so much.

Oh, I do so love the extra cuddles during a sick day! But definitely not fun seeing your kiddo not be themself. Hope he's up, running and getting into trouble in no time! :o)
oh my word, that made me cry! what a sweetie. how heart wrenching for you as you had to leave! i am sure he enjoyed the cuddles from daddy, but there truly is nothing like mommy. I saw on fb that you guys went to the concert so I hope you loved it and had an awesome time and that Jonah is on the mend. LOVE You!!
there is somthing pretty amazing.. pretty special and pretty extrodinary about the way children love their moms eh? For us moms it's this beautiful gift that we get to have these short litle peoples love us so much.. We complete their world..we are their world.
I love that little fella an dhopehe is feeling better today . I came to see him last night but Ere said he wanted to go to bed he was sooo tired so I missed him when I got there.
I am looking soooo forward to spending some time with you today and hope leaving work early works out for us.
